My Dearest Baby Tiggy

Today is 4-10-06 and i didnt get much sleep last night. Tiggy was il and it was sunday so i had to drive her to perdue vets in westville she spent the night and i got her at 7:30 am and took her to dr heckler at lake station pet clinic where she is now.Tiggy has a large tumor by her spleen and the dr explained that the outcome on this is not good.Her body is not making new blood like it should.Im so upset and just dont know what to do and i hope i can keep myself together.this is not unexpected and i knew i would have to face something like this someday but put it in the back of my mind,this is the hardest thing i have had to deal with in my lifetime.I have a very hard call on what i must do next and i pray to god for some guidance, im simply all tore up inside and am having a hard time keeping my composure.Life without my little sweetheart Tiggy is unimaginable for me.I love the flowers in the yard in summer with her at my side they were beautifull but i dont think i will plant any without Tiggy to enjoy them with me.Today is the saddest day i have have ever had to face.TODAY is 4-29-06 and Tiggy is doing a bit better Her & I are getting used to giving her her medcine,water,food,etc and we will make the most of our time left together.TODAY is 5-4-06 My Seetie Tiggy can hardly walk and i am doing all i can to care for her till she passes.In times like this i makes you fully relize just how helpless we are at times.TODAY is Friday May 5th 2006 and tonight at 9:35 pm my dearest baby died.She was next to me and passed with very little pain.I cleaned her up and brushed her hair real nice and layed her on her pillow then wrapped her in her baby blanket and put her by the heater in the living room her favorite place in the house.I took several pictures of her and told her seepie now seetie and at 7:30 in the morning i buried her in the back yard next to one of her favorite spots.I told her how very much i loved her and how she made the 16 years we were together the best years in my life and also said a prayer for her and me.

CQWW 160 meter contest.

Yes i worked the contest 1-28-06 00:00 z to 1-29-06 23:59z and made 159 CW contacts almost worked all states again.This is real ham radio and what i enjoy most!Remember that Real Ham`s work cw,keep logs and qsl 100%!When is the last time you worked CW...I have heard many ham`s say when i learned cw...does this mean just to get an upgrade or do they know really know how to operate cw... ``The Real Ham``

New Computer

Well i have been having fun reinstalling many program`s into my new Dell xps-400.OS is windows XP media center edition and It`s got a pentium d 820 2.8 ghz w/dual core technology,2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533 mhz f/s bus,80GB HD & 19`` flat panel display with a 3.5 flopy drive & 256MB ATI hyper memory X16 (DVI/VGA/TV out Radion X600SE and all the other goodies.I just put in another 128 (total 256mb) mb ram in my dell xps-450 (which i bought new in july of 1999 and never a problem) and ethernet card and have them networked with a linksys 802.11g wireless 4 port broadband router.This all makes for a much improved atmosphere in my home office/hamshack.

Fort Wayne Hamfest

Sat Nov 19 2005 this is the 1st day of the hamfest.Toby N9FDF and me went and stayed all day and bought stuff for our junk boxes.We had breakfast at bob evans and then went and waited in line for it to open up.We had a nice time and there was a lot to see.

Well last week tiggy went to the dr for her 2 year checkup and they couldnt get a urine sample so they did it with a needle and i wasnt consulted over this and am not happy over it either and then i had to buy antibiotics. She seems ok and today at 3pm she sees the dr again.I sure hope all is ok.

flower`s & Yard

Today was 70 % and i got some flowers transplanted and fertilized the yard and my my.. my daffodils are just about to flower and are so pretty.I have all my flower pots empty and refilled with good black dirt but april 15th is not here yet!Now im off to hunt & pounce some DX...Oh.. K9HUY had to catch me for our sked on 17 meters!

Club Meeting

The club meeting last night went well and i thought that Gary Kb9olz did rather well for his 1st meeting as club president.We all went out and had pizza afterward and talked etc.I had a nice time.

Nice Day Today

Wel today Don & Me Had Breakfast At the truck stop.ham and eggs biscuts & gravy ah is good with hash browns.The 160 meter 1/2 wave dipole is up and working real good 1st contact wasVE3GRG and WB9ECK,Bob helped me set up on AM 1.980 and looked at the signal on his scope i was running about 400 watts pep and had a good signal.I spliced in 4 feet on each leg and lowered the resonant point to midband,life is good.75% f today and its not april yet...
